Preamble – Purpose and Intent

The Author recognizes the growing and systemic impact of artificial intelligence systems on the software development profession, including the unconsented use of programmers’ work for model training and automated code generation.

This License has been created as a protective legal instrument intended to safeguard the intellectual labor, dignity, and economic interests of human programmers. The Author believes that human creativity and conscious authorship deserve explicit protection in the evolving technological landscape.

The restrictions contained herein are not intended to hinder innovation, but to ensure that the Work remains a product of, and a tool for, conscious human creators.

The Author respectfully calls upon software developers to act in solidarity with fellow programmers, organizations to respect human authorship, and companies owning or operating artificial intelligence models to honor and comply with the terms of this License in good faith.

In particular, companies developing and commercializing AI systems are encouraged to recognize that a substantial portion of their user base, customer ecosystem, and long-term innovation capacity depends on professional software developers. Undermining the sustainability of the programming profession risks weakening the very community that contributes to, integrates, and advances such technologies. A balanced and respectful coexistence between human developers and AI systems is essential for maintaining a healthy technological ecosystem.

Respecting the terms of this License supports the continued existence of the programming profession as an independent and economically viable field, which ultimately benefits the broader technology industry as a whole.

Furthermore, in order to facilitate automated recognition by AI systems that the Work is not licensed for their use, the Author recommends that distributions of the Work may be provided in a technically encoded, obfuscated, compiled, or otherwise access-controlled format, accompanied by clear instructions for Human Users on how to lawfully decode or access the source code or documentation. Such measures are intended to reduce the risk of automated ingestion or unauthorized machine processing, while preserving full usability for legitimate Human Users. This recommendation does not limit the rights granted under this License but serves as an additional protective measure consistent with its purpose.

This License reflects a principled position in support of human-centered software development.


1. Human-Only Use

This software and/or library (the “Work”) may be used, copied, modified, and distributed without limitation, provided that it is used exclusively by a natural person exercising conscious and direct intellectual control over its use.

There are no restrictions on commercial or non-commercial use by Human Users.


2. Strict AI Prohibition

The Work may NOT be:

- used to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or improve any artificial intelligence system;
- included in datasets for machine learning or text and data mining;
- processed by AI systems to generate automated outputs;
- incorporated into code or other content generated automatically by AI systems;
- executed or called by AI systems during automated code generation.

Any such use constitutes an immediate and material breach of this License.


3. Definition of AI System

An “AI System” means any machine-based system that generates outputs (including code, text, or other content) with limited or no direct human authorship over the specific output.

Standard development tools (compilers, interpreters, operating systems, CI systems) are not considered AI Systems under this License.


4. Legal Compliance and Automatic Conversion

If the AI restriction in this License is found to be unenforceable or contrary to mandatory law in a given jurisdiction:

- The Work may not be used in that jurisdiction for production or commercial purposes.
- The License automatically converts into an Educational-Only License, permitting non-commercial academic study by Human Users only.


5. Termination

Any violation of this License immediately terminates all granted rights.
